CON-TATTO (“with touch”) project
The goal of "Con-tatto" is to create within the “Active Library” a center for reading and producing Illustrated Tactile Books, an extraordinary meeting and reading tool for people with different abilities, and become a reference point for tactileism in the Castelli Romani area.
The project, which lasts 18 months, includes three phases: the first is to set up the library with the necessary spaces and equipment, thus also modernizing the technological equipment of the Library.
The second phase includes a training course with national and international teachers to create a community that is increasingly attentive, sensitive and aware of the themes of tactileism and, above all, of social inclusion.
Finally, a cultural program aimed at all citizens with a calendar of meetings, appointments, workshops and collective actions, will be the indispensable binder to bring planning into the daily life of the city and to bring about a lasting virtuous change.
